Such a versatile film

I recently discovered this film, trying it first in 35mm to see where it fits within my photography...and it seems it fits with almost ANYTHING. What I found with my latest roll of this film is that it seems to like a polarising filter. I shot the sample images with my Mamiyaflex C2, and developed it in HC110 Dilution B for 6 mins at 20°c.
If you've not tried Superpan, you don't know what you're missing.

Somewhat challenging.

I shot and developed this as I would normally and something must've gone wrong because while the negatives looked 'fine' the contact sheet was really underwhelming. It looked like it had been under exposed and then overdeveloped, as the grain was massive and shadows nonexistent.

But with some work I managed to pull some actual images out of it. It seems like it could be a really interesting film because it does have some extended sensitivity to red light. But without shooting more I just can't recommend it as my results were just all over the place, still that could be down to something on my part.

Excellent film for IR trichrome

Super versatile film which works well for standard B&W as well as IR. Can be used to create excellent IR trichrome.

Great for Infrared

I seem to have spent a lot of time during the Summer of 2022 indulging in Infrared film photography. Rollei Superpan was recommended to me and, as it is cheap, I bought a few rolls to have some fun with. I shot my medium format rolls with my Goodman Zone Z1 and a Kood IR720nm filter. The results I got have encouraged me to keep using it.
